Description
Marabu Clearshield® Classic is a water-based liquid clear-coat that offers UV-protection, chemical resistance, abrasion resistance and flexibility to any print. All solvent, eco-solvent, latex, and UV inks can be used with ClearShield® Classic, which is designed to be used with a wide variety of non-water-sensitive media like banners and self-adhesive vinyl.
Benefits :
ClearShield® liquid coatings offer the same protection as film laminates while saving as much as 60% in production costs. Liquid coating is easy to use and does not require expensive equipments. In contrast to lamination films, there is no risk of bubbling or misalignment with liquid coating.

Application Method :
Manual application : Roll the clearshield coating onto the prints using a short-nap roller or a white high-density foam roller. Apply two layers, waiting approximately an hour in-between to complete drying.
