Description
Marabu ClearShield Select is made with the most recent developments in water-based coating technology and offers superior resistance to abrasion, chemicals, and UV rays. ClearShield Select improves image quality while providing superior protection for digital prints. The new coatings work on a variety of digital substrates and offer enhanced outdoor protection as well as enhanced chemical and mar resistance. For both manual and automated applications, the ClearShield Select coatings are available in gloss, semi-gloss, and matte finishes. It is intended to be applied with a roller or spray equipment on a wide range of digitally printed products including pressure sensitive vinyl, banners and rigid substrates.
Benefits:
ClearShield® liquid coatings offer the same protection as film laminates while saving as much as 60% in production costs. Liquid coating is easy to use and does not require expensive equipments. In contrast to lamination films, there is no risk of bubbling or misalignment with liquid coating.

Application Method:
Manual application : Roll the clearshield coating onto the prints using a short-nap roller or a white high-density foam roller. Apply two layers, waiting approximately an hour in-between to complete drying.
